11. He’s a Feminist

Jon Snow respects women in a way that many in Westeros do not. While there are women in power and those who have immense respect from the people they lead. But Jon Snow is different. He respects everyone woman he meets as an equal and it is truly revolutionary.

In today’s day and age,  it is hard to find a real guy who respect women like Jon Snow does and, on television, it is usually very rare to find a man who doesn’t have to be ‘changed’ by some woman to become a feminist. Jon really doesn’t have have moment. Yes Ygritte teaches him things but, if anything, she teaches him how to love a woman, not see her as an equal.

Jon is instilled with a respect for women, maybe because of Catelyn, but he definitely respects his sisters and everyone he comes in contact with. Catelyn may not have loved Jon or treated him well but Jon still respected her and everything she taught him.

He is a feminist and that would transfer over to his rule. It is important for someone like Jon to take the throne because if not, who knows what would happen to those who had opposed them beforehand.
