10. He’s More Qualified by Blood

Jon hit the genetic jackpot in a lot of ways. First, he is a Stark and the next to gain control of the North since Robb died. Secondly, he is also a Targaryen. So between both sides of his family, he is the most qualified by blood to rule.

The thing with being both a Stark and a Targaryen, Jon technically has two sides fighting with him. He has all those who are still loyal to Robb and to the North and he has Daenerys and her army. With that, he could easily take the throne and it wouldn’t be something that people got upset about.

With a lot of the battles and who should and shouldn’t take over the Iron Throne, a lot of it has to do with what side would be more upset. With Jon, two of the big ones are represented within him. His aunt is the mother of dragons and his brother (or cousin if you will) was the King of the North.

So his bloodline alone should secure his place on the throne. Everyone else is vying for just their people and themselves but Jon represents to sides as well as himself and that makes him even more special.
