PANT SUIT TWO: Pastel Pink with Choker

When you’re First Lady of the United States, just being a good will ambassador isn’t enough. You need your own agenda and ideas. You need to support you husband constantly. And if you disagree with him? Don’t let anyone know about it! You are also the hostess and all-around do-gooder at the White House. Basically, you’re very busy. Did we mention Hillary was also raising her daughter Chelsea? Hillary had plenty of opportunities to show off her love of pantsuits while getting stuff done at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

In 1999, First Lady Hillary Clinton co-hosted a conference on mental health at the White House along with her husband, Vice-President Al Gore, and his wife Tipper Gore. Tipper wore a pastel green pantsuit while Hillary rocked a pink pantsuit along with a stunning choker necklace. Just enough pink to remind people that she’s the First Lady, while also adding her very own flair. The conference was held to battle the stigmas associated with those who suffer from mental illness. This is just one of the many events Hillary hosted while she was First Lady, but since then Hillary has taken an active role in raising awareness about mental health across the country.
