Let’s be honest. Dave Kovic is not a President. He is an actor who runs an employment agency. His striking resemblance to President Bill Mitchell has allowed him a side job of impersonating him. He’s asked to impersonate the President long term because a stroke has left him unresponsive.
Dave takes his job seriously. He has no formal political training, but what he lacks in knowledge, he makes up with enthusiasm. To see the President working to make the lives of his constituency better is what inspires Americans. Since Dave is a true outsider, he isn’t beholden to political party affiliation or any backroom deals. He only has to work at making the county better.

Since his job before pretending to be the President was to try to find people employment, he’s the perfect candidate to spur job growth. He knows how hard it is for people to find jobs with a livable wage. He is willing to make some concessions to make it work as long the end goal is for the betterment of the people. He’s also not afraid to bring in independent consultants to work on an issue. Dave worked tirelessly with a consultant to cut money from a bloated budget that only served a small percentage of the population.

I understand he was never formally elected as president, but he makes the most of it while in office.
