Though he is arguably not a ‘romantic lead’, Han Solo is one of the biggest romantic saps in the entire galaxy. He fell in love and was super mad about it. What’s more reluctant romantic lead than that?

He also hates the fact that the woman he loves doesn’t instantly love him back. He has to fight for it and it makes him even angrier about being in love in the first place. Han Solo is a hermit who only hangs around with a big furry man. He doesn’t want some girl ruining everything.

And yet he falls in love with Leia Organa and marries her and has a kid with her. He’s a sap and that’s why Han Solo is one of the greatest love interests we have in modern times. He literally could have avoided everything by just telling Obi-Wan Kenobi no but instead he went and fell in love with a princess and then has to fight her at every turn.

Han Solo loves Leia Organa so much so that he would do anything for her and she would do anything for him. After all, she loves scoundrels and he is just a puppy who won’t admit he’s in love.
