Come on Barbie! Let's go streaming! You may have already heard that Barbie and Mattel are teaming up to bring holiday magic to your home. One of those offerings is the Barbie StreamHouse powered by Verizon!
Culturess was able to attend a pre-event on Dec. 11 located at 214 Lafayette Street in New York, NY. We spoke with a Verizon Spokesperson to get details about how the StreamHouse comes to life for visitors. "In partnership with Mattel, we've created this multi-floor experience where you can basically enter, you scan a QR code, and you are prompted into a mobile shopping experience where throughout the entire home, you can scan different items and add them to your holiday shopping list and wish list. The real-life dream house is, of course, filled with Instagrammable moments and different ways to interact with the activities".
Entering into the StreamHouse, you'll be introduced to a multi-floor holiday activation. Drinks, food, and perfectly placed Barbie products to add to your wishlist are plentiful. There was also a Barbie-themed pool, a live DJ, and a shop room where people could purchase Barbie items. As told on-site, "You scan a QR code, and you are prompted into a mobile shopping experience where throughout the entire home, you can scan different items and add them to your holiday shopping list and wish list."
The StreamHouse is open to the public starting from Thursday, Dec 12 to Friday, Dec 13 from 12 PM- 7 PM ET and Saturday, Dec 14 to Sunday, Dec 15 from 10 AM - 7 PM ET.
