This week is a little bit lighter on the video game news, as last weekend was full of every announcement you could imagine. If you missed it, you can read our writeup of our favorite announcements.

But a few things still trickled in this week, so let's get to it!

Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC requirements

FromSoftware came out to let players know there's a bit of a stipulation when it comes to the Shadow of the Erdtree. They came out and said that two-thirds of players haven't met the prerequisites to play the new area: Beating Starscourge Radahn and Mohg.

Thankfully, Radahn is a mandatory boss for a certain ending of the game, so he's easy to encounter. Fans still have some time to catch up and be ready when the DLC launches on June 21st!

Xbox June Update is out now

Microsoft announced the Xbox updates they just released for the month of June. Some of the updates include more personalization for backgrounds on the home screen, a firmware update for controllers, updates to wireless settings (your Xbox can remember up to 10 networks), and you can now manage your subscriptions directly from the Xbox.

There's quite a bit more, so if you want to dive in deep, you can read the full update here at their blog.

PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Update

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tier members have new games at their disposal this month. 14 of them, in fact! Some of the highlights include Far Cry 4, Monster Hunter Rise, several LEGO games, and Crusader Kings 3.

Among Us may have leaked the Nintendo Direct date

Nintendo usually does a Direct around the time of Summer Game Fest/the prior E3 expo, but we still don't have a confirmed date.

Of course... Among Us may have leaked it via GameSpot uploading a new trailer. Take this with a grain of salt, as Jake Baldino would say, but it's possible the next Nintendo Direct will be Tuesday, June 18th!
