Travis Barker Launches "Run Travis Run" Wellness Experience

Travis Barker, renowned drummer for Blink-182 has recently launched a new wellness initiative called "Run Travis Run" This comprehensive wellness experience aims to bring together like-minded individuals who share a passion for physical activity. Mindfulness and community engagement are also central to the experience. The event is set to take place in Los Angeles along with Queens New York, prior to the band's upcoming concerts in these cities.

The "Run Travis Run" event promises a unique experience. It blends physical activity with mindfulness. Participants will start the day with a timed run at 9 a.m. It is open to runners of all levels. It also features fitness classes, mindfulness workshops, and activations from top wellness brands are also included. Attendees will also receive limited-edition shirts and medals to commemorate their participation.

Barker's journey towards wellness began after a devastating plane crash in 2008. It left him with severe third-degree burns on over half his body. Doctors doubted his ability to walk or drum again but Barker was determined to defy the odds. His recovery began with short walks before he eventually progressed into daily short runs. Last year, he accomplished his first half marathon and he has also participated in several 5K runs.

Barker was inspired by the camaraderie and support he encountered within the running community. This sense of unity and mutual encouragement served as the foundation for Run Travis Run.

To mark the launch of Run Travis Run, Barker recreated the iconic "Run Forrest run!" scene from the 1994 film Forrest Gump. His wife Kourtney Kardashian played the role of Jenny Curran.
