Mattel brings the fun with new Samsung TV Plus channels

Given all the love for the Barbie movie, it's clear Mattel is making moves and one of those is adding three new channels to Samsung TV Plus.

For those who own a Samsung TV, then you probably already use this service. As shared via the brand's website: "It's free TV. Just switch on." Esentially, all you have to do is turn your TV on and you're good to go.

Sometimes though, you're not the one who is sitting at the TV. Instead, your kids might be wantingn to watch something, you might be babysitting or just need something in the background while doing work around the house.

That's where Mattel comes in as the three new channels are Mattel Jr, Hot Wheels Action, and Barbie and Friends. Essentially, it's a little bit of everything for kids or kids at heart.

Samsung TV Plus adds 3 new channels from Mattel.

Let's break down what is included in these channels. First is Mattel Jr which includes some adorable programming. One of those is Kipper the Dog which is an extremely underrated kids show as it's rarely talked about. The channel is also going to feature Pingu the adorable Penguin along with some other Fisher-Price characters. This is going to be a mainstay in some households with really little ones so I had to start with that.

Moving onto the next one, we have to talk about Hot Wheels Action. Given that we're getting a Hot Wheels movie in the future, this one doesn't just focus on cars. Instead, this channel focuses on action and adventure in all forms. While the channel will include Hot Wheels, there are also going to be episodes featuring He-Man and Skeletor along with some Thomas & Friends. For kids who are wanting some action, then Hot Wheels Action has plenty.

Last but not least, we have to talk about Barbie and Friends by Mattel. This channel is dedicated to our favorite girl: Barbie. Considering how beloved the Barbie movie is, this channel will be one I could see everyone enjoying. Barbie is also celebrating her 65th anniversary this year so honestly, you can't go wrong with this one.
