With International Women's Day on Friday, March 8, 2024, Light + Fit is getting in on the action of celebrating women.

There are nearly 13 million women-owned small businesses throughout the United States. But, women continue to face barriers when growing their own businesses.

To support and encourage women's businesses, and in recognition that everyone benefits from women rising up, Light + Fit has two initiatives to help acknowledge that.

Light + Fit is officially introducing their Empowering Women Artist Series packs, which feature the work of entrepreneurial female artist, Camila Rose, as a part of the first pack in the series.

""Art empowers women and changes society. We're stronger when we speak up collectively.""

Camila Rose

Camila Rose is a Brazilian artist and illustrator based in Brooklyn, New York. Taking advantage of the opportunity, Camila Rosa has dedicated her packaging as a canvas to highlight the strength of women everywhere.

The packs will be available on shelves in select retailers nationwide stating in March for $3.99 per 4-pack.

But, there is more. Light + Fit is also announcing the Dannon Light + Fit x FFC Grant Program with the Female Founder Collective. The Female Founder Collective is an organization helping female entrepreneurs around the globe grow their businesses through community, resources, and education.

The grant program will provide five creative female entrepreneurs with a $10,000 grant and a yearlong membership to the Female Founder Collective's 10th House program that will provide them with resources, tools, and mentorship that will help them grow their business. Applications will be open on March 8th, 2024.

The Senior Director of Marketing at Danone said,

""We could not be more excited to launch the Empowering Women Artist Series packs and the Dannon® Light + Fit® x FFC Grant Program just in time for Women's History Month. Light + Fit's commitment to driving economic opportunity for women is integral to our identity as a brand - we are looking forward to empowering women through our programs, partnerships, and even packaging, this month and beyond.""
