James Gunn's New Superman Suit Unveil David Corenswet as the Man of the Steel in 2025 Superman Film
Superman 2025 film writer-director James Gunn posted yet another photo on his Instagram of David Corenswet in the suit as the Man of the Steel. With an explicit caption showing Corenswet seated down dressed in the suit night to a metropolitan background of a pinkish beam of light from somewhat a laser, we've included it below for your viewing pleasure.
The photo presents mixed feelings on why this particular image of Corenswet in the signature red and blue suit as Superman. Many will take notice that the image suggests this Man of Steel is quite the opposite of previous onscreen versions of Superman.
Gunn explained on Threads that the photo was taken on set by Jess Miglio and was entirely in-camera. That is causing fans to have scattered feelings toward the image. Surely, there will better-established shots of Corenswet in action either as Superman or Clark Kent in The Daily Planet.
Another thing that many will notice from the image is light of Corenswet's eyebrows feels sort out of character from Superman comics. Many who are familiar with Corenswet's previous roles in The Politician, Hollywood would remember Corenswet has prominent dark eyebrows.
However, this is only the first image tease of Corenswet as the Man of Steel for the 2025 Superman film and surely there are more to come soon with Corenswet as Clark Kent, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, and other cast members.
Indeed, the image teases a narrative but does not spoil too much for fans and still leaves room for curiosity and anticipation on what is to be expected from Gunn's Superman 2025 film.
By a guess, this first look of Corenswet in the suit as Superman does not sell it but if shown more photos. Then fans will be onboard for this version of the Man of Steel and Gunn's version.
