Is Harley Quinn renewed for season 5? (How did season 4 end?)

There is no way anyone imagined just how successful the Harley Quinn animated series is. It's even more surprising to see the show lasting for four seasons.

Of course, we all know that nothing is guaranteed when it comes to Warner Brothers but thankfully, there is one silver lining. If you're just getting caught up on season 4 of Harley Quinn like I am, you're probably wondering if the show is renewed for another season.

According to a press release from Max: "The critically acclaimed Max Original adult-animated series HARLEY QUINN has been renewed for a fifth season." This press release is from 2023 so no doubt we'll be getting more episodes of Harley Quinn in the near future and given how season 4 ended, it couldn't come at a better time.

Aside from being excited about season 5 of Harley Quinn, Max is also currently streaming episodes of Kite Man: Hell Yeah! which focuses on Kite Man and his new love, Golden Glider, running Noonan's, and the hijinks that are involved with that.

How did season 4 of Harley Quinn end?

For those who watched season 4 of Harley Quinn, the storyline was focused on Harley as she's dealing with the two different sides of herself. She's trying to be a good and productive member of the Bat Family while also trying to stay true to herself which isn't easy. At her core, Harley Quinn is a good person but she doesn't always go about it in the best way.

Additionally, Harley is trying to juggle her relationship with Poison Ivy who became the CEO of the Legion of Doom. However, things truly come to a head at the end of season 4 as Harley finds out the truth about who killed Nightwing and it probably wasn't surprising to most viewers yet it changed things with the show.

Ultimately, the ending of season 4 proved that we're probably getting the team-up we've all been waiting for which includes Harley, Batgirl, Poison Ivy, and Catwoman. Of course, we'll see how this storyline plays into season 5 which was teased at San Diego Comic-Con in July. Collider shared some details: "Superhero television's favorite power couple is leaving the dark and crime-ridden streets of Gotham City for the bright and vibrant landscapes of Metropolis..." As you can see, things are looking a bit different for our favorite super sweethearts.

The other nugget of information we found out is that Harley Quinn season 5 is releasing sometime in November 2024. While we still don't have a confirmed date yet, this is something to keep an eye out for. Plus it gives you plenty of time to watch Kite Man: Hell Yeah.
