Harley Quinn: 4 characters we’d love to see have a valentine

When it comes to Valentine’s Day, Harley Quinn isn’t the first TV show most think of. However, things look to be changing in 2023.

At this point, we know Harley Quinn is renewed for Season 4. As an added bonus though, the show is also getting a Valentine’s Day special in 2023. As reported by Variety, the special is going to be called Harley Quinn: A Very Problematic Valentine’s Day Special. Honestly, there is no telling what that could end up meaning.

Variety goes on to share a small description of the special: “The special will feature Harley and Ivy celebrating their very first Valentine’s Day together, while also revealing how the rest of the ragtag crew spends the gushiest, mushiest, most romantic day of the year.” That’s a lot to be excited about.

With Harley Quinn booked for Valentine’s Day in 2023, who could end up being a part of the lovey-dovey stuff in the special?

4 characters who deserve love in the Harley Quinn V-Day special

Obviously, the major catch for fans is that we’re going to be seeing Harley and Ivy spend their first Valentine’s Day together. The Season 3 finale looked like it was going to go a certain way, but thankfully, it seems like things have cooled down for Harley and Ivy. It’ll be interesting to see how the two decide to celebrate Valentine’s Day, though.

Aside from Harley and Ivy though, there are a few characters who have been featured in the show who deserve some love. Maybe it’s just because I’m tender-hearted, but some of the side characters on Harley Quinn really deserve a break and need someone to either hug them or do something a bit more X-rated.

Regardless, the first character who comes to mind is Batgirl aka Barbara Gordon. With a father like Jim Gordon, Barbara just needs someone to talk to and maybe have a cuddle or two. While she might end up doing more with someone, it would be nice to see Barbara finally get the chance at some happiness especially given the stress of the finale. Plus she’s such a lovable character so seeing her happy would be a delight.

Another side character who needs some good loving is King Shark. King Shark has been through a lot during Season 3 including losing both his father and his brother. Additionally, he had to help Bruce Wayne with an unsavory task. Even so, it would be incredible to see him spend some quality time with someone who values him or just wants to make him feel good for a few hours.

Oddly enough, I’d also enjoy seeing Dr. Psycho with someone. This is less about the love factor and more about the curiosity of who or what would put up with Dr. Psycho. However, hopefully, the show and its crew decide to give us a Dr. Psycho podcast episode as that’s what we’ve all been dying for. Plus I’m sure Harley would give some unsavory love advice on it which I’m here for.

Last but certainly not least is Bane. As a Harley Quinn character, he can be rather annoying but this poor guy needs some love. For goodness’ sake, we’ve heard about the pasta maker for the eternity of the season almost. However, I feel like having someone to either talk to or do more than talking to would help him lighten his load a little bit. Of all the characters, I feel like Bane just needs someone and it’s time the Harley Quinn crew shows him a bit of mercy in that regard.

Aside from those characters, I’ll be happy to see what Valentine’s Day looks like in the Harley Quinn world. No matter which characters we end up meeting or following, it’s going to be a lot of fun and hopefully, a bit romantic.
