Get a taste of summer at Hershey's Chocolate World
Summer starts early at Hershey's Chocolate World and frankly, I couldn't be happier as there is so much to do, eat, and have fun with while you're there.
The good thing is that if you're just going to Hershey's Chocolate World for the experience, admission is free and you can even enjoy the Hershey's Chocolate Tour. This is essentially a look at how Hershey's chocolate is made which brings up into the first big event.
On May 25th, one of the coolest events kicks off as it's going to be a signing with Harry Moore. He is a character artist and the illustrator behind A Tour Ride Adventure with Cupcake the Cow. Basically, Cupcake is going to take center stage in this book and Moore did all the illustrations. Moore will be there at 1 pm and 4 pm for those interested.
Another exciting event that's happening this summer at HCW is a Friday Night Dance Party. This is basically what it sounds like as HCW is going to be hosting a dance party. In the press release, these will take place on July 12, 19, and 26. These are scheduled for 6 pm to 10:30 pm so you'll be able to enjoy some sweets, eats and even a little dancing but speaking of eats.
Hershey's Chocolate World has the best treats and eats for summer.
If you're someone who is looking forward to going to Hershey's Chocolate World to eat, then you're in luck. There are so many new drinks and sweet treats to get your hands on. Let's start with some of the alcoholic drinks before moving onto everything else. While some are traveling with kiddos, others might be looking to unwind and enjoy an adult beverage.
These new alcoholic options for summer sound absolutely delightful. First is the Twizzlers Pink Lemonade Cocktail which is made with whisky infused with Twizzlers, strawberry puree, and lemonade. Then there's the Jolly Rancher Rum Punch which is made with Jolly Rancher-infused rum, pineapple and orange juice along with Jolly Rancher cherry flavor. These are both available to sip until September 5th.
In keeping with the Jolly Rancher theme, you can also try a Jolly Rancher Margarita which is made using your favorite flavor of Jolly Rancher slush and tequila for a frosty drink. Lastly is the Reese's Big Cup Caramel Cocktail which is described as "Peanut butter and chocolate goodness delights this Reese's Big Cup Caramel cocktail, featuring peanut butter whiskey and chocolate vodka." Just sign me up for both already!
Moving onto some non-alcoholic offerings, sweets are the name of the game at Hershey's Chocolate World. For a summer staple, Hershey's has a Hershey's Popping Candy S'more which is a s'more but it features a full-sized Hershey's White Creme with Sprinkles and Popping Candy. If you're craving candy, then you'll have to grab these exclusive ones which are Reese's Pieces with Caramel and Reese's Pieces with Chocolate Cookie Biscuit. The latter won't be available until mid-June.
Speaking of exclusives, there is some exclusive Hershey's merchandise at Hershey's Chocolate World. First is the Hershey's Chocolate World Character OllyBall which is perfect for the warmer weather. Of course, everyone loves a Loungefly and Hershey's has two exclusives which are a re-designed Hershey's backpack and a Hershey's KISSES backpack.
Lastly, we have to talk about milkshakes which is easily one of my favorite parts of a trip to Hershey's Chocolate World. First is the new KIT KAT Pink Lemonade Milkshake which is made with strawberry ice cream and pink lemonade blended together. Then there's the Hershey's Popping Candy Milkshake which is made with vanilla ice cream, milk, and sprinkles.
Last but certainly not least is the Hershey's S'mores Milkshake which is made with vanilla ice cream, marshmallow syrup, and graham cracker crumbs. It's then garnished with all your favorite s'mores items including a Hershey's bar, graham cracker, marshmallow, Hershey's syrup and of course, whipped cream. All in all, summer at Hershey's Chocolate World looks pretty sweet.
If you're headed to Hershey's Chocolate World, you can also pop over to Hersheypark which is now daily through Labor Day which is September 2nd. All in all, if you're headed to Hershey this summer, you're bound to have a full stomach and tons of fun.
