Colin Jost And Michael Che of SNL's Weekend Update Will Bring Laughs To St. Patrick's Day Eve Event

If you were looking forward to spending St. Patrick's Day on a Saturday this year, 2024's extra day, due to it being a Leap Year, has put an obstacle in the way. However, why let one day ruin the joy of the holiday?

To help fix the glitch, and encourage enjoyment for a St. Patrick's Day Saturday, Jameson Irish Whiskey is declaring a new holiday on Saturday, March 16th - St. Patrick's Eve, so the thrill and enjoyment can kick off on one of the most fun nights of the week.

Not to step away from the tradition of having an "Eve" celebration to have hosts for an epic countdown, Jameson Irish Whiskey has brought in Saturday Night Live members, and leaders of the "Weekend Update" segment, Colin Jost and Michael Che, to host the event. This marks the comedy duo's first ever joint partnership.

Throughout March, Jameson Irish Whiskey along with Colin Jost and Michael Che will revelers prepare for St. Patrick's Day Eve.

The part itself will be held live in Times Square on Saturday, March 16th, to celebrate St. Patrick's Eve, and the event will also feature a surprise DJ performance, smooth cocktails, good vibes, and a rock drop (a ball drop 'on the rocks').

Jameson is taking over Times Square on St. Patrick's Eve with a first-of-its-kind 'Rock Drop"  - A Jameson version of the Times Square Ball Drop - At 8 PM ET (AKA Midnight In Ireland). Anyone 21 and older can tune in to watch live on "Jamesonspre.com" and for those in NYC, Jameson invites you to join them in person at the celebration in the Times Square Plaza between 43rd and 44th Streets, with a live DJ and more from 6 PM to 10 PM EST.
