Cafe Bustelo is helping caffeinate our summer fun

No matter what season it is, we have to admit that we live for the perfect iced coffee. And over the years, there have been some magical offerings in the world of caffeine. But the fact that Cafe Bustelo has decided to join the refrigerated section of the grocery store is something that we are extremely excited about.

On June 10, news broke that "Cafe Bustelo is launching Cafe Bustelo Espresso Style Iced Coffee Beverages–this is the first time you can find Cafe Bustelo in the refrigerator aisle!" This ready to drink offering is available in three varieties, an unsweetened option, a sweetened option, and even a vanilla flavored option. (It should be noted that the vanilla is a Target exclusive at this time.) And if ever there was a time to try something new, this would be it.

This summer, we are taking our caffeination to a whole new level with the help of Cafe Bustelo. Luckily for us, we got the chance to try the unsweetened version of this ready-to-drink iced coffee and we have some thoughts! (First I have to admit that I am really excited for the vanilla option and as soon as I get my hands on it, I feel like it will be my go-to coffee of the summer.)

The first thing I have to say about the Cafe Bustelo ready-to-drink iced coffee is that it was delicious. It was perfectly brewed, robust in flavor, and was perfect with ice and cream. This was a great base for any number of iced coffee creations and I will admit that I may have a little too much fun with this one, as I ended up giving myself a buzz from the caffeine.

I do have to point out that I struggled to get into this bottle, and that could just be a me thing. Unfortunately for me and my coffee bottle, I needed to grab pliers to get the protective seal off the bottle. And let me just say that as someone going into this uncaffeinated, that was a bit of a situation. But of course, the fact that it was so well sealed is also a bonus because it guarantees that this is going to be a fresh bottle of coffee every time.

This might be our new favorite summer sip and we love that it came from Cafe Bustelo. We love a perfect cup of coffee, both hot and iced, and that is what the brand seems to deliver every single time.
