Friendly's is ready for summer fun with their SummerFest menu

Summer is the perfect time for both brunch outings and a perfect evening of dessert. And Friendly's understands how much we love a sweet treat and a savory dish as well. If you are anything like us, then brunch and dessert are two of your favorite things and that is why the SummerFest menu from Friendly's is a win this summer.

Just in time for the warm summer months, Friendly's has released 15 new menu items (although some are returning favorites) that are perfect for everyone. From seafood options that are decadent and delicious to sweet treats that will satisfy even the pickiest ice cream lover, they seem to have something for everyone.

As a fan of Friendly's, I love when they add new things to their menu and this is no exception. This is a menu jam-packed with delicious dishes that will have people coming back for more. For me, I am the most excited for the two lobster rolls on the menu, as well as the Lobster & Shrimp Quesadilla. And that doesn't even include the dessert options, such as the Sugar Cone Nachos and the PBJ Croissant.

Personally, I have tried the Lobster & Shrimp Quesadilla and I have to say that it is amazing. This might just be one of the best new additions to the summer menu for people who love cheesy treats and decadent seafood. And while this is the only one of the new SummerFest menu items I have tried so far, it won't be the last!

Among the menu items we are the most excited for at Friendly's, we have:

• The Sweet & Savory Marionberry Grilled Cheese (this is a new addition to the menu, but doesn't seem to be part of the SummerFest menu)
• Strawberry Salad
• Connecticut Style Lobster Roll (I can't wait to try this since it is a Lobster Roll with butter.)
• Lobster Bisque Soup
• Sugar Cone Nachos (This is a decadent dessert that we might have to share with a fellow sweets lover.)
• French Toast A La Mode (We need to try this one ASAP)
• Chocolate Cheesecake Fribble

Honestly, this is just a small sample of what Friendly's is offering this summer. And every bit of it sounds amazing. We are here for summer favorites like a lobster roll and even a strawberry salad, but we are also loving the decadent dessert dishes they have created as well because it reminds us that summer is definitely the season for ice cream!
