Brie Larson and Jennifer Lopez Share An Emotional Moments On Golden Globes Red Carpet

The 2024 Golden Globe was a big night for Brie Larson. The actress was nominated for Best Actress for her role in the Apple TV+ miniseries Lessons in Chemistry. While Larson didn't take home the award, her special moment came prior to the awards show, on the red carpet.

As one of Hollywood's top actresses, Larson is accustomed to rubbing elbows with other celebrities. But there was one meeting during the Golden Globes red carpet that left her in tears.

The actress was doing an interview with Kevin Frazier from Entertainment Tonight when she spotted Jennifer Lopez walking towards her. "Oh my God! I can't deal with JLo," an emotional Larson told Frazier. "No, I can't. I'm going to cry."

Despite her efforts to hold back tears, Larson couldn't hide her excitement when she meet Lopez. "You mean so much to me," Larson told Lopez as they shared a hug. "I saw Selena and it made me want to be an actor and you've always meant so much to me."

Lopez became emotional too when she revealed she was a fan of the Captain Marvel actress. "You're gonna make me cry."

"It's been a dream of mine. Thank you so much. Your work ethic is so important." Larson said to Lopez. "Thank you. I've been wanting to say that to you for a long time so I'm really-I didn't think it was going to be right now."

Larson joked she was going to have a shot of tequila before hugging Lopez and exiting the stage.

This was a night that Larson and Lopez will never forget.
