A Touch of Chaos is hotly anticipated by readers of all kinds

Even before I began talking as heavily about romances, I knew about Scarlett St. Clair and her Hades x Persephone series. Now it's hard to believe that A Touch of Chaos is here.

Looking back, St. Clair originally began publishing the series in 2019 and almost immediately everyone was talking about the series. While there are other popular Hades x Persephone stories, this one captivated readers in a way no other could, second only to Lore Olympus.

In addition, St. Clair knew her fans were craving more and even ended up branching out to give Hades his own books. If you go by the reading order shared by St. Clair in our interview, you start with A Touch of Darkness, then the Hades book, and so on.

All in all, it's clear St. Clair has a lot of love for this series and her fans so I can see why A Touch of Chaos is a book everyone is looking to get their hands on.

A Touch of Chaos is a huge romantasy title for a reason.

The major reason I think readers connected with the Hades x Persephone series is that the myth is such a fun one. We all know the tale of Hades and Persephone, but yet Scarlett St. Clair makes some fun changes. While we're still getting that same Grecian feel, it's set in a modern world which can add some much-needed updating to the original story.

In addition, she took it a step further but giving us Hades' perspective. Most retellings just focus on Peresphone but seeing Hades' POV is awesome. It's interesting to read one book from her POV and then, his. It adds some much-needed context that isn't always featured in other books.

A Touch of Chaos is the end of the Hades x Persephone saga and there's something bittersweet about that. You have people who have been waiting for this book while others will start the series since it's now completed. Either way, it's one of those things that is sad but will also help us to see a new side of Scarlett St. Clair and her writing.

Plus for those who read A Game of Gods, we all know how that book ended so waiting for A Touch of Chaos has been torture. Either way, Scarlett St. Clair really changed the game with this series and I'm incredibly excited to see where she goes from here.
