Milky Way is celebrating a massive 100th-anniversary milestone

100 years is a milestone to get excited about, and Milky Way is doing just that. If you were a candy lover who "took the MILKY WAY" this year, then you are in for a big surprise.

In collaboration with geo-guessing expert Rainbolt, Milky Way is offering chocoholics the chance to join a delectable challenge (with prizes).

Starting now and through Wednesday, October 16th, fans can post a picture on Instagram featuring their favorite outdoor location where they enjoyed a delightful travel or vacation. Be sure to tag @milkywaybar and @georainbolt and use the hashtag #MilkyWar100Contest for your image to count.

According to the official press release, the Marketing Vice President, Mars Wrigley North America stated,

At the conclusion of the competition, the three finalist's images will be chosen for Rainbolt to "geo-guess." If Rainbolt correctly guesses the location, the three finalists will get $5,000 and 100 Milky Way candy bars.

For fans of Milky Way candy bars, that is a lot of delicious chocolate to devour yourself over time, or share with friends and family. If you really wanted to, that $5,000 could be spent on even more delicious Milky Way chocolate.

Milky Way's reach has resulted in various different versions of the candy bar and includes flavors such as Milk Chocolate, Midnight Dark Chocolate, and Cookie Dough. Milky Way also offers its own ice cream bars.
