In a world where anything from pop culture, music, television, and even films collaborate with toy brands, no one could have predicted that Mattel would release perhaps the coolest, no, greatest Polly Pocket compact to date. Mattel beat me to it, but "Everybody just stay calm", because the Polly Pocket x The Office compact is here!

Shaped in the form of the World's Best Boss mug (with one flattened side for optimal play or display) from main character Michael Scott's desk in the popular and hilarious show about a fictional paper distributing company in Scranton, Pennsylvania, fans can open up a miniature world of The Office. The opened mug reveals several sections of the office, from the likes of Pam's desk, where you first enter the office, to Michael's office and even the small cafeteria.

The compact includes 6 characters from the show and a plethora of accessories, such as Michael's mug and Dundie, Dwight's carved pumpkin (that he literally wore on his head and could not remove without damaging it), Pam's watercolor painting of the exterior of the workplace, and Kevin's infamous chili. Characters can sit and stand in a variety of places, from behind Pam's desk to the meeting room where Kelly's depressing 'It Is Your Birthday' sign is displayed.

Fans of The Office will be able to spot every minor detail and inside joke from the series. I would love to see Mattel release more characters and inside joke accessories for this compact in the future.

The Office remains one of the most prominent shows in television history, even becoming the most streamed show in 2020. Almost everyone, even those who did not watch the show, are aware of the copious amounts of jokes, unforgettable one-liners, and jaw-dropping moments that made us all wish our workplace could be just as fun and chaotic.

Add to it the unique touch of character confessionals and mockumentary style filming (to the point the cameraman gets knocked over in the classic episode, "Stress Relief" from season 5), and you have an easily digestible, enjoyable show you can binge-watch or indulge in at your leisure.
