There are so many great Christmas songs. From classic to modern to funny to sexy, the holiday music runs the gambit but none is sexier than “Santa Baby.”

Originally recorded by Eartha Kitt, the song was released in 1953, and over 50 years later, the song is still being played, covered, and enjoyed by many Christmas fans. In honor of that, I wanted to rank the 8 best versions of the song including the original.

No matter if you’re looking for something new to add to your playlist or have thoughts on “Santa Baby” as a song, we’d love to hear it. With that being said, we have a lot of artists to go through because a lot of artists have covered this song yet only one can reign supreme.

If you’ve ever listened to the song before, I’m sure you’ll know who will be in our top spot but I won’t ruin the rest of the list so let’s get into which version ended up at #8 on our list.

8. “Santa Baby” as performed by Kelly Clarkson

Starting our list, I wanted to go with a version of this song that I didn’t love but just liked. There were so many covers to weed through yet this one stood out. I don’t know if it’s due to Kelly Clarkson’s beautiful voice or that it feels more modern, but this one feels more like one you’d hear being played at a work Christmas party.

That might sound a little weird, but those who work in retail will know what I mean. Either way, this one ended up coming in at #8 because it’s a good cover, and has amazing vocals but wasn’t as sensual as the other ones so it ended up at the bottom. Given how many times this song has been covered though, this one is worth listening to.
