Sometimes, you read an author and their books feel like a warm hug. That’s exactly how it felt picking up Lauren Asher’s latest: Love Redesigned.

If you haven’t been living under a rock, I’m sure you’ve heard of Lauren Asher. Her books have become a staple on BookTok, Barnes & Noble, and many a bookshelf. I won’t count myself out because I’ve loved everything I’ve read by her.

While she’s written two different series, she’s now embarking on her third series which is the Lakefront Billionaires. Starting with Love Redesigned, this book is another billionaire romance from her but it’s such a unique premise.

I’d like to thank Bloom Books for sending me an ARC copy to read as I honestly read it in two sittings and it made me love Lauren Asher even more.

Love Redesigned is another knockout from Lauren Asher.

If you couldn’t tell, I adored this book. Set in the small town of Lake Wisteria, we follow Julian Lopez, a successful billionaire, and Dahlia Munoz, a successful designer and Julian’s first love-turned-enemy. From page one, it’s obvious that these two have a lot of tension between them.

Regardless, it doesn’t stop Julian from suggesting that the two renovate a beloved house in their hometown. From there, it’s a game of push-and-pull to ignore their attraction, get the job done, and figure out what they both want. Since it’s Lauren Asher, you know the romance is top-tier and swoon-worthy.

As amazing as the romance is, a lot of this book is focused on Dahlia and Julian’s journeys. Dahlia is dealing with anxiety, depression, and loneliness after a bad break-up along with finding out some impactful news. No matter how down she might feel, Dahlia always tries to push herself and make sure she’s doing everything she can. I just adored Dahlia’s character and I couldn’t wait for her to get what she deserved.

Meanwhile, Julian is a workaholic who is still grieving the loss of his father. It’s hard to read as it’s clear Julian knows he’s making bad choices but can’t stop himself. As with Dahlia, we watch as Julian realizes the error of his ways and starts to make better choices. It does take a while but that feels incredibly realistic.

All in all, this was another great one from Lauren Asher. She managed to ensnare me as soon as I picked up the book and I read it in two sittings. No matter if this is your first Lauren Asher or not, you need to pick up Love Redesigned. As with most authors, I’ve come to discover and love this year, it’s been amazing to watch her grow as a writer. I truly can’t wait to see what’s next for Lauren Asher as I know I’ll be picking it up.

Love Redesigned by Lauren Asher is out now where books are sold.
