There’s more work to be done at Kingdom Records. The BET+ musical drama series Kingdom Business returns to the streaming service for its second season! Kingdom Business was created by John J. Sakmar & Kerry Lenhart. The show’s executive producers include John J. Sakmar, Kerry Lenhart, Holly Carter, DeVon Franklin, Kirk Franklin, and Michael Van Dyck. After its premiere on May 19, 2022, fans of the series have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of season 2 to continue the story seen in the last episode of season 1, ‘Homecoming‘. The finale aired on the service’s linear network, BET on February 22, 2023.

BET+’s Kingdom Business S2 synopsis (What is Kingdom Business about?)

The show is centered around Rebecca Belle aka Rbl, an exotic dancer with a powerful voice who moves from dancing on the pole to praising God at the pulpit, forcing the reigning queen of gospel, Denita Jordan, to guard her family secrets.

Season 2 will pick up right where we left off, after an intense cliffhanger that further complicates Rbel’s journey and the Jordan family as they continue to fight for their record label.
