Season 3 of Harley Quinn has been unlike anything we’ve seen yet. No doubt we’re in for an even bigger treat as we inch closer to the finale.

One area we no longer have to worry about though is Season 4 of Harley Quinn. Recently, news dropped that Harley Quinn has been renewed. If anything, it amplifies all the hopes and expectations we have for the ending of Season 3 as we know Harley and the crew are coming back.

However, the major questions about Season 3 have only begun ramping up. Considering the events of the previous episode, “Another Sharkley Adventure,” there are so many questions we’re all dying to get answers to.

Of course, all of that being said, it brings us right into talking about Season 3, Episode 8 of Harley Quinn and that’s “Batman Begins Forever.”

Harley Quinn’s “Batman Begins Forever” changed things forever.

While Batman can be a bit of a polarizing figure for some, his role in Harley Quinn has been pretty solid. Thus far in Season 3, we’ve watched as he was the dutiful boyfriend of Selina Kyle along with basically leaving Harley and Ivy alone. Everything changed after we found out the lengths he went to acquire Frank.

In particular, the last few episodes have been dedicated to Ivy and Harley trying to get Frank back and find answers. However in “Batman Begins Forever,” Harley got much more than she bargained for in more ways than one. Before getting into anything else, there will be spoilers from “Batman Begins Forever.”

Firstly, the episode brought back Doctor Psycho which was a treat. Doctor Psycho rounds out the crew and brings such a unique energy to every scene he’s in. Plus it’s nice to see some of the humor he brought to the scenes and to see him get caught up on everything. Hopefully, we’ll see him return for the rest of the season as he’s already been enmeshed in the crew’s hijinks.

Additionally, we got to see a glimpse into Bruce’s mind and why he acts the way he does. While it was nice to see into his mind, it was especially interesting to see him bond with Harley and turn to her as his confidant. Plus we actually got to see Harley come face-to-face with her past self and realize how much of an insecure clown she used to be.

Last but not least, the episode was perfectly wrapped up with us finding out why Bruce decided to steal Frank and his plan actually coming to fruition. However, with Bruce bringing his parents back, using Frank, it seems like Gotham is on the precipe of a zombie invasion. Even if it doesn’t affect the entire city, it’s going to do a number on Bruce which isn’t surprising.

As far as episodes go, “Batman Begins Forever” is easily one of my new favorites. Not only did the episode answer so many questions, but it also gave us a lot to think about. Honestly, I have such high hopes heading into the finale so there’s no telling what the rest of Season 3 of Harley Quinn will throw at us.

Harley Quinn returns Thursday with a new episode on HBO Max.
