Roswell gives us a whole new world to explore in “Down in a Hole”

Roswell New Mexico is getting down to the wire and with only three episodes left in the series, we have found a whole new world to explore. (Which is sad because this could have been the perfect storyline for a fifth season!)

And while Liz is apparently her evil mental doppelganger after her “Wild Wild West” adventure, Michael is desperately on the hunt for how he can save Alex. Plus, we have Isobel trying to help her former mentor (and our former villain of the season) to make amends and stop Clyde. But ultimately, it was Maria who had the biggest “find” of the episode.

That is because it was Maria who ultimately found the gateway to the “world” where Alex, Dallas, and Bonnie are lost. And while Dallas and Bonnie are doing their part to find a way back to Earth and Roswell, it was Maria who truly helped Michael and Kyle figure out what to do and where.

With Maria embracing the changes to her gift, it was all about her journey when it came to finding this side world that has trapped their friends. And of course, it was also all about Michael and Kyle working together and realizing that one can never give up on the person that they love.

Roswell discovers a whole new world in “Down in a Hole”

Alex has been missing almost the entire season, while Dallas and Bonnie have been MIA for just a few episodes. But the problem is that we don’t have much time left to save everyone and save the world from Clyde and whatever it is that he has planned.

But instead of staying in Roswell and Bonnie and Dallas coming back to their Earth, Michael is determined to save Alex. And that means crossing over without any guarantee that they will be able to get home.

While he truly believes that there is hope for finding what they need to reactivate the portal/gate, the most important journey for Michael is finding Alex. And of course, on the other side, we have Kyle and Maria in charge of keeping the portal and the console that are in Roswell safe from Clyde and anyone else who might seek to harm the one hope our trio (and hopefully quad when they find Alex) have of getting back home.

There is not much time left for saving the day (we are still not okay), but we have a whole new world to explore, people to save, and a bad guy to stop still.
