We are getting down to the wire on Roswell, New Mexico and there are still missing friends to save and decisions to be made. And that means that while we are here for the mystery and anguish of “Missing My Baby,” we also need things to start resolving and coming together so that we don’t end the series on some epic cliffhanger.

The problem is that this episode of Roswell actually added a whole different problem that needs to be resolved. And it revolves around one of the people we need to save the day – Liz. That is because she made the decision to trust her former mentor’s wife with the secret of the aliens.

While this decision did lead to Michael getting his powers back and being able to find where Alex (and Dallas and Bonnie) went missing, it also led to a major setback too. That is because Liz has now basically overdosed with the same cure that she created to help Michael.

Roswell leaves us with Liz in danger and three of our friends still MIA

What does this mean for Liz? We have no idea, but she was definitely concerned before it happened. And if Liz is worried, then we should be too.

At this point, Max doesn’t have his powers while Michael does. Dallas is missing. And Isobel is reconnecting with Tezca, who it turns out was her teacher as a child, in an effort to learn what Jones wanted (which is what the “dark” triad has been trying to set into motion). Well, it turns out that Liz is the key to whatever it is they are doing.

And while Tezca seems to be switching sides, Clyde is on the hunt. After destroying the barn and tree that Dallas and his father planted, he is now trying to get his hands on Liz. This is why he is at the family diner and seems to have his sights set on Liz’s student, who is now working for the diner.

Things are not looking so great for our favorite aliens and their partners. Because at this point Alex is still missing and now Liz is incapacitated. Plus, Dallas and Bonnie are still missing too and we have no real clue what the plan is that Clyde is on a warpath to complete.

If ever there was a time for Max to have his powers, this would be it. And yet, it is hard to deny that this is his choice and we have to support it.

But while we are getting closer to the end of the line for Roswell, at this point things are just not looking good for our aliens and friends.

Roswell, New Mexico airs Mondays on the CW at 8/7c.
