Thank you for being a friend. It’s a classic for the Golden Girls and likely, a new theme for a restaurant based on the beloved TV show.

While the Golden Girls was initially released in 1985, the show has outlived even its stars. We finally had to say goodbye to the last Golden Girl, Betty White, in 2021, and since then, the world hasn’t been the same.

Dramatics aside, the ladies of the Golden Girls have made an indelible place in the world of pop culture and, for some, our hearts. Aside from being best friends, the girls are known for their love of cheesecake.

It would only make sense that there would be a restaurant themed after the iconic group of ladies, so let’s get into all the details.

Here’s everything about the new Golden Girls pop-up coming to Los Angeles.

Of course, traveling can be expensive, but if you’re in the Los Angeles area or planning to travel there, this is a must-stop. Created by Derek Berry, this immersive experience will be a must for fans of Golden Girls. For those who don’t know, Berry has created a lot of other immersive experiences, including ones for Saved by the Bell and 90210.

Food and Wine shared a lot of details about the experience, including the price, which is $50 which “comes with a reserved seat, a guaranteed dining window, a choice of an entree, and cheesecake.” The pop-up will also feature a complete food and drink menu, a gift shop, and other events. Honestly, it sounds like it will be the perfect way to kick off the summer if you’re in the LA area.

At this point, tickets aren’t on sale for the experience. However, you can be put on a waitlist to be notified when tickets go on sale. Honestly, if you’re a Golden Girls fan and live in the LA area or will be traveling there, it sounds like it will be a lot of fun.

Even if you can’t go, you can still watch The Golden Girls and its forgotten spin-off, The Golden Palace, on Hulu.
