Workplace romance books make for an awesome backdrop for love and hijinks.

The first workplace romance is actually the 5th book in a series, but it can be read as a standalone: Everything For You by Chloe Liese. This is another installment in her Bergman Brothers series, and this is Oliver Bergman’s book. Oliver is a young professional soccer player who has a romance with one of his veteran teammates, Gavin.

Not only does this book follow the two connecting while at work, but they’re also neighbors. Gavin is also extremely grumpy, while Oliver is a sunshine character. This book has many great topics and tells a beautiful story while also dealing with the pitfalls of life, including anxiety and chronic pain.

The other workplace romance is a graphic novel, Chef’s Kiss by Jarrett Melendez, with illustrations by Danica Brine. This book is mainly about the main character, Ben figuring out what he wants to do after college. However, the book also features Ben having a romance with one of the chefs he works with.

This book is such a gorgeous art style, along with tons of food references, a great friendship dynamic, and obviously, a solid romance. If you’re looking for a short yet incredibly fun m/m romance, this is the perfect one to pick up.
