This past weekend, lucky Wonder-Con attendees got a ‘taste’ of the new Bob’s Burgers Movie trailer.  The preview revealed a worried Bob Belcher as he scrambles to get the latest payments in, or his restaurant and business will face closure.  If that isn’t enough, a giant sinkhole opens right in front of the restaurant, which will most likely derail customers.

In true Belcher fashion, his kids, Tina, Gene, and bunny-eared Louise, take on the mission of saving their business and home and getting their dad back to normal.   During their adventure, Louise gets trapped in the sinkhole. Going along with the trailer’s storyline, people become enamored by it as if it was some great mysterious phenomenon.  Linda makes an effort to cheer up her displaced husband, but her attempts are futile. At least we get a peek of her brand-new burger bikini.

You can watch the Bob’s Burgers movie trailer below.

The Bob’s Burgers Movie was originally set to have a 2020 theatrical release, but due to the pandemic, it was pushed back to have a release during the 2022 Memorial Day weekend.  Director Loren Bouchard denied giving the film a release through any digital streamer as it’s already on television airing during Fox’s Animation Domination on Sundays.  He further explained with Entertainment Weekly that having the movie exclusively in theaters will give the fans a new experience as it is “something that they have never done before.”

H. Jon Benjamin, Dan Mintz, Kirsten Schaal, John Roberts, and Eugene Mirman are set to reprise their popular characters on the big screen.  Accompanying them is Kevin Kline as their landlord Mr. Fischoeder, Larry Murphy as a friend and best customer Teddy,  and Zach Galifianakis as Felix.

The Bob’s Burgers Movie is distributed by 20th Century Studios.
