Kol Mikaelson And Marcel Gerard are coming to Legacies
The Mikaelsons are coming back to Legacies, and this time with two more additions. Joining Freya and Rebekah, who have already made appearances on Legacies, will be Nathaniel Buzolic and Charles Michael Davis, who portrayed Kol Mikaelson and Marcel Gerard, respectively.
Kol Mikaelson was initially introduced in the third season of The Vampire Diaries as Klaus and Elijah’s unpredictable younger brother and a part of the Mikaelson antagonist arc. Later on, he joined the rest of his family in New Orleans during The Originals, where Marcel Gerard was already a significant player.
Although Kol and Marcel have been through highs and lows, their dedication to Hope is something the duo has in common with Freya and Rebekah, which will likely be needed given Hope’s humanity has been off.
Since turning her humanity off, Hope’s journey has involved finding Triad, struggling in her dynamic with Lizzie, and a failed wish to kill Aurora. Although there may have been a tease at the potential that a sliver of Hope’s emotions had slipped through, it was quickly squashed as she headed back to Mystic Falls.
The Mikaelsons have dealt with several conflicts in the past, and they may be able to reach Hope in a way no one else has managed.
Rebekah had dealt with No-Humanity Hope at the beginning of the fourth season and had been left behind as Hope drove away. But, the remaining members of the family coming back together could give them an advantage they would not have alone.
For the most part, Hope has been involved with Josie, Lizzie, and the rest of the Super Squad as her family had not been as involved in her life. However, this is the time to change that.
A family reunion could be the key to restoring Hope’s humanity. The Mikaelsons will make their exciting return on April 14 on The CW Network.
