The Arrowverse is heading back to the page in the new comic series EARTH-PRIME, which will begin releasing on April 5 in local comic shops and digital platforms.

The series is a six-part event set entirely in The CW’s Arrowverse, with five issues taking place on each of the network’s five connected shows, Batwoman, Superman & Lois, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, DC’s Stargirl, and The Flash.

The sixth issue will be an epic crossover conclusion, culminating all events from the previous issues, and, presumably, affecting the shows as they head into their next seasons in the fall.

This series will mark Stargirl’s first entry into the Arrowverse, seemingly moving her from Earth-2, where she was established to be during 2019’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event, to Earth-Prime with the rest of The CW’s heroes.

Naomi will remain absent from this crossover, seeing as her show does not take place on Earth-Prime, and it seems the creators have no plans for any crossovers at this time.

The first issue, EARTH-PRIME #1, will feature an original story about Batwoman’s Ryan Wilder, written by Batwoman writers Natalie Abrams and Kelley Larson, along with cast member Camrus Johnson. The story will take place during the third season of the show, finding Ryan trying to save a high-schooler who fell victim to Clayface’s mud.

She will find help from an unexpected source, someone who Abrams has written for before, as she teased on Twitter. Abrams has written for both Batwoman and Supergirl, leading fans to wonder what Arrowverse character may show up in this issue.

The issue will also feature a story about Luke Fox/Batwing, as he tries to balance life as both a superhero and a boyfriend.

EARTH-PRIME #2 will feature Superman & Lois and will release on April 19 in stores and digital platforms.

Series writers Adam Mallinger, Jai Jamison, and Andrew Wong will helm the story, which follows Clark and Lois trying to celebrate their first anniversary when superhero and reporter duties ultimately get in the way.

This series marks the latest entry into comics for The CW’s universe, following the previous series such as Crisis on Infinite Earths Giant, The Adventures of Supergirl, The Flash: Season Zero, and Arrow: Season 2.5.

Nicole Maines’ upcoming Dreamer comic, which was teased after Supergirl’s conclusion in November, will also most likely tie into the Arrowverse as it follows Nia Nal becoming Dreamer.

EARTH-PRIME will release two issues a month for three months, culminating with the final crossover issue in June.
