Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore trailer released

Audiences will be returning to the wizarding world of Harry Potter when the next installment of the Fantastic Beasts franchise premieres on April 15, 2022. The third film in the series, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, will continue where the previous movie left off, with Newt Scamander, Albus Dumbledore, and their friends preparing to stop Gellert Grindelwald from gaining power and preventing a world take-over.

Additionally, The Secrets of Dumbledore also hints at a return to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, a fan-favorite location in the wizarding world and the future spot for the Battle of Hogwarts.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore will also mark the premiere of Mads Mikkelsen taking over the role of Gellert Grindelwald from Johnny Depp. While Lord Voldemort was the main villain in Harry Potter’s life, Gellert Grindelwald is the central antagonist that existed before him.

The Fantastic Beasts franchise has likely been leading up to the final duel between Albus Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald. Even though the Harry Potter series fans know how their battle concludes, getting to experience the highs and lows of the upcoming war gives a new insight into how everything occurred.
