Hello readers, this is a touchy subject for some, what are the best Christmas movies and specials? I’m not going to include the true classic’s 1960’s and 1970’s such as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town, or Frosty the Snowman. This is going to be more of a non-traditional list that features movies and films that have become cult classics since this is Culturess.com of course. For the next 12 days check back to

First up in this series is the 2007 film P2. Okay, full disclaimer, I went back and forth whether or not to include this movie or not. Upon a re-watch, it was easy to determine, yes it is indeed a Christmas movie. It’s hard to do a Christmas horror movie and very few good ones exist, many scary holiday movies are straight-up slasher films, this one included is borderline, but in the end, it mixes a fair amount of gore along with plenty of suspense.

Movie Plot

The film opens with the camera cutting through various shots, while Santa Baby plays in the background. The movie follows lead protagonist Angela as she tries to make it home for the Holidays on Christmas Eve. After working late, she somehow became tracked inside his office building in New York City. The film’s main antagonist Thomas, the building parking attendant stalked and kidnaps Angela. Throughout the film is a game of cat and mouse between Thomas and Angela as she tries to escape Tom’s clutches. All the while trying to dodge his vicious Rottweiler Rocky.

Where to Watch P2

Fortunately, P2 is streaming on multiple platforms, some for free so you are covered to watch the flick without having to pay extra. Here is a list of platforms to watch it for free*:
