Live concerts are coming back in 2022: Is your favorite artist on the list?
It seems like we are slowly getting out of what became the “new normal” that was masks, social distancing, and hand sanitizers. While vaccines are becoming more and more common and recommender and/or required (depending on the area you are in), things like business reopening, people going back to work, and acts going on tour again are occurring. I was never much of a fan of going out to shows. I live in a small town city where major touring acts never visited. When I lived in a major metropolitan city, it was quite different. I suppose that is where I got the habit of watching live performances on Youtube and streaming services. That is why Popsugar’s recent article about 11 artists that will be touring next year certainly caught my eye. Is your favorite artist on the list? There are certainly probably more that are not on this one. But let’s talk.
Artists that are going on tour next year.
I have been a Dua Lipa stan ever since her Grammy performance this year. Maybe I caught on late but I loved watching her take on the stage ever so gracefully and easily. The talk was that she has “gotten better at performing” but in my eyes, she was great all along.
The same with Justin Bieber. Before his new music came out, it seemed that he was pretty quiet in Hollywood. Once Peaches hit and his singles, he didn’t tour much. It’s great to hear he will be doing more performances for his music apart from his limited performances with The Kid Laroi. And The Weekend? It’s the same story! Everyone and their grandmother watched this year’s halftime performance at the Superbowl. To hear he will be touring! What a treat. Next year will be a great year in live music with more announcements to come.
