Xbox Live Gold members don’t always have much to look forward to when the announcements come through every month. But for the subscription price, there’s usually a game or two that are worth taking a look at. November is no exception.

Below are the offerings for November and the dates they’re available to download.

  • Moving Out, November 1 to 30
  • Kingdom Two Crowns, November 16 to December 15
  • Rocket Knight, November 1 to 15
  • Lego Batman 2 DC Super Heroes, November 16 to 20

Xbox Live Gold November 2021 Highlights

Moving Out was released in 2020 and is a couch co-op game – literally about cooperatively moving couches. You pack up each house into a moving truck and are scored by how quickly you can get everything packed away and play with up to four players across thirty levels. But each item to move has a different twist or mechanic and new levels offer new challenges. It’s honestly one of the more fun casual multiplayer games out there.

Kingdom Two Crowns is your side-scroller game for the month. It’s a beautiful minimalistic art style as you build, expand, and defend your kingdom. There’s a campaign mode you can play and you also can do an online co-op with a friend. But don’t let any of that fool you. This is a hard game. Progression is slow and you need to spend a lot of time playing to feel a solid sense of achievement.

Rocket Knight brings Sparkster out of the Sega era. It’s a 2D side-scroller that features plenty of action and jetpacks. It’ll feel like a very familiar game if you played any platformers growing up. Rocket Knight isn’t a long game, either, so if you’re a fan of retro games and mechanics, check this one out.

Last up is Lego Batman 2 DC Super Heroes. Batman and Robin join up with Superman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern to save Gotham from Lex Luthor and the Joker. You know, the standard Batman set up in the standard Lego game. If you’re a fan of the Lego series games, you’ll feel right at home playing this.
