And King of Battle and Blood comes from Scarlett St. Clair, the author of the popular Hades & Persephone series, and follows the story of a princess and a vampire king who must wed to end a yearslong war.

When King Henri de Lara forms a truce with the Blood King, Adrian Aleksandr Vasiliev, he must agree to hand over his daughter Isolde in marriage as part of the bargain. Isolde reluctantly agrees, hoping to save her people – and possibly kill the vampire king if she gets the chance.
