The highly anticipated final installment in Fonda Lee’s Green Bone Saga, Jade Legacy arrives to close out the month – and kick off that all-important holiday gift buying window. (Though, honestly, please order your books early for the holidays, folks. Shipping and production issues are real.)
It’s been four years since Jade City was initially released and two years since its sequel Jade War hit shelves, which greatly expanded the world of its story. Now Jade Legacy aims to bring the epic feud between the Green Bone clans to a conclusion and promises to be more than worth the wait. (The final installment clocks in at over 700 pages!)
Their decades-long feud has been fueled by everything from politics and honor to desire for the mystical jade that gives its users special abilities, infecting generations of family members both young and old. But as the older participants eventually age, die, or retire, the younger members of both clans step forward, eager to find a way to end the conflict once and for all.
The question, of course, is whether they’ll be successful – and what the world will look like by the time they do,
The official synopsis describes the story as follows.
