We finally know whose funeral Maria has been seeing in her visions on Roswell: New Mexico and it is all thanks to some vision walking with Isobel. In an homage to Alice in Wonderland and following the White Rabbit down the hole, Maria and Isobel went on a grand journey through both of their subconscious minds.

However, thanks to this journey through their minds, Roswell finally revealed who exactly is in the coffin in Maria’s vision. And let’s just say we are not happy.

It turns out that this is a Valenti funeral. And based on what happened by the end of the episode it certainly seems like this is actually Kyle Valenti‘s funeral!

Roswell reveals that a Valenti is lying in the coffin in Maria’s vision

However, we can’t be certain that it is actually going to be Kyle in that coffin. And the reason for that is because Maria and Isobel immediately sent Max on the hunt for Kyle.

Once Max found him however, the situation was pretty dire. Kyle was impaled and bleeding out thanks to the mayor’s own son. And that tracks with the things that Maria heard in her visions.

Our only hope for Kyle is that Max was able to find him in time to get him help. But we just don’t know because of course, Roswell left us on this pretty massive cliffhanger. We understand that death happens and it helps move a story forward, but of all the characters to kill off, the last one we want to lose is Kyle Valenti. At many times he is not only the heart of the show, he is also the conscience and the voice of reason.

Now we just have to wait for episode 5, “Killing Me Softly With His Song,” to see if Kyle lives or dies.
