Season 3 of Roswell, New Mexico has premiered and thanks to a one-year time jump, we have plenty of new storylines to explore with our favorite aliens and friends. And while we can do a deep dive into all of the core characters, we have to give the spotlight to Kyle Valenti for a change.

In the season 3 premiere, we get plenty of Roswell action, and even Liz rocking the moniker of Roswell at work, and we can totally come back to all of that. And the reason for that is because Kyle Valenti was the cornerstone of this episode.

We can totally argue this point, but it was Kyle who sat down with Liz and reminded her that she needs to be true to herself and do what it is that makes her heart happy. And he was the inspiration for Liz doing something we never thought she would do (something that could potentially put her job on the line). That one interaction alone could have been enough to prove that he is a better person than so many of us (this is technically a woman he has loved).

Kyle Valenti stole the show in the Roswell Season 3 premiere

Back in Roswell, we once again get Kyle Valenti in doctor mode, as well as friend mode. And it turns out that even if he hates the fact that he got dragged into the world of the aliens, he won’t stop being a good person.

Not only is he trying to save his friends’ lives (looking at you Max and Maria), but he is also trying to offer comfort to people like Isobel. His conversations with Max, Maria, Liz, and Isobel each delivered in an emotional way that just hit. It delivered on the feels and it also set the stage for each of these characters to have amazing storylines in season 3.

We expect that Max’s storyline is going to be rocky with his health issues and his continued love for Liz. Then we have Liz, who is still waiting for Max, but also seems to have a thing for her new work partner. Isobel is trying to get stronger within herself and her own gifts, while also worrying about her family. And then we have Maria, who is part alien and dealing with gifts that could be doing her more harm than good, but that she doesn’t want to block.

With all four of these characters, there are unique storylines ahead, and yet, it is Kyle Valenti who was at the heart of everything revolving around these characters and their futures. And at the end of the day, he continues to prove that he might just be the best person in Roswell, even if we do love our core cast and their love interests.
