Doom Patrol Season 3 finally has a premiere date and the perfect teaser

It’s official! Doom Patrol finally has both a premiere date and a teaser to get us ready for the third season of the wacky comic-based series.

While we are excited about the premiere date, we have to start off by focusing on the teaser itself. In a series that seems dedicated to the weird and unusual, it looks like things are getting even weirder in season 3. And that is saying something.

But here’s why we know things are getting weirder – because even the members of the Doom Patrol have questions. One of the biggest questions seems to be, “why does this keep happening to us?”. And yes, the imagery itself has us asking questions too.

The thing is that the new season seems to begin right where it ended (no complaints there), and that means they are coming out of what amounts to a stasis in wax. We have no idea what happened to Dorothy and now it seems that someone or something is coming for the team.

Is the Doom Patrol dead (they seem to think so)? Are they on another plane (the dealmaker references being “all the way through the looking glass now”)?

But really, the big question is what’s next? What’s their next move after everything that has already transpired?

I mean, this teaser didn’t exactly offer us any clues about Season 3 of Doom Patrol. But at the same time, it left us wanting more.

So when exactly are we getting more? The Season 3 premiere is set for September 23 on HBO Max of course.
