The Circle season 2 player: Khat

Late season 2 entry Khat Bell is my personal pick for Circle player that was probably gone too soon. Her big personality made for entertaining viewing, and her snap judgements about the other players were…well sometimes hilarious, sometimes confusing, but always interesting. Some of them were so spot on – she nailed that Emily was a catfish early and was right about Lance also not being real, even though the jacket factoid she used to “expose” him was sloppy.  And then some of her reads were just straight up terrible.

But it does make me wonder how she might have done had she come into the game at the beginning. Granted, the Joker twist provided her with the opportunity to integrate more fully into the Circle – she was second the first week she was elegible to be rated, a feat which is certainly nothing to be sniffed at.

Yet somehow she went almost immediately from second to last place in the ratings – which obviously had something to do with her attempt to go after Chloe, but is probably also due to the fact that she just never really had a chance to break into the bonds formed by other players.
