American Horror Story: Apocalypse

Apocalypse is basically a love letter to long-time AHS fans, a season’s worth of fan service and Easter eggs that brings back old favorites, ties the show’s two most popular seasons together and is honestly just ridiculous from beginning to end. How might AHS tackle the literal end of the world? Well, now we know. And it’s a lot.

This is the sort of season that probably isn’t that much fun for new viewers or casual fans to watch, but if you’ve always wondered how Tate and Violet fared in the Murder House, how Cordelia’s time as Supreme at Miss Robichaux’s Academy worked out, or what happened to Constance and her murderous grandson, well, this is the season for you.

Honestly, the season rates highly simply for the fact that it brought Jessica Lange back for an episode as the best character she ever played, but Cody Fern also makes a shockingly good Antichrist and there’s little in this universe as satisfying as when the witches from Coven finally show up again.
