Need some help deciding what to read this month? We run down 10 of the best new science fiction and fantasy book releases hitting shelves this November.

As November rolls in, the days are suddenly shorter, it’s a heck of a lot colder and the darkness feels longer than ever. (And that’s even before we factor in our varied levels of election-related anxiety, and the fact that there’s a pandemic going on.) What I’m saying is, maybe now more than ever before, we need escapism. And what better form of escapism can there be than a good book?

Not much, to be honest.

Thankfully, this month brings us a bunch of exciting new science fiction and fantasy titles to peruse from the comfort of our blanket forts – or whatever your cozy book nook happens to be. From the highly anticipated sequel to Ernest Cline’s Ready Player One and a new novella set in Holly Black’s megapopular Folk of the Air universe and the exciting conclusion to R.F. Kuang’s Poppy War trilogy, there’s truly something for everyone this month.

Here are our picks for ten of the biggest must-read book releases for November.  Enjoy – and let us know what you’re reading this month!
