2. Curon

Length: One season

Short Sell: Although Curon on Netflix is an Italian drama (which means it is actually in Italian), it is definitely worth watching. Not only does it not give too much away early on, but it does set the stage for more mystery and even horror later on.

Basically, this show sets viewers up for another season in a way that leaves you wanting more, while also giving enough horror and mystery to satisfy those cravings.

Netflix describes:

"“After 17 years, a woman returns home with her teenage twins. When she mysteriously vanishes, her children must reckon with a shadowy family legacy.”"

1. Haunting of Hill House

Length: One season

Short Sell: All things considered, you can’t talk about shows to watch with The Haunting of Bly Manor without going back to the first Haunting season on Netflix. And that means we have to give the love to The Haunting of Hill House.

Much like American Horror Story is an anthology series, the Haunting shows on Netflix are the same way. Each season tells its own haunting story, and while Bly Manor was a bit more of a gothic romance, The Haunting of Hill House was a brilliant story of a family haunted by tragedy and a home that didn’t want to let them go.

Netflix describes:

"“Flashing between past and present, a fractured family confronts haunting memories of their old home and the terrifying events that drove them from it.”"
