Jessica Jung

If one sister isn’t available, why not try the other? Just like her younger sister Krystal, Jessica Jung is also a singer and actress. She was a part of the K-pop group Girls Generation before departing in 2014. Her most notable acting role is Elle Woods in the Korean version of the musical Legally Blonde. More than just a pretty face, Jessica has so many other endeavors, including being a brand ambassador for Revlon.

For now, it seems the starlet has dropped acting and picked up a sewing machine and makeup palette. She’s now focused on designing and being a beauty guru, so it’s been a while since she’s been in a film or series. Portraying Silk is what could get her back on our screens. Not only does Jessica have the look, but she also has the charisma as well to pull off the Spidey femme fatale.

Adding to her resume, Jessica’s first novel, Shine, is set to be released on September 29. Shine follows the story of a talented young girl who lands a six-year deal with Seoul’s top K-pop label.  She tells Teenvogue, “Shine was born because I wanted to tell the truth about my experience, the way only good fiction can. But I also wanted to create good entertainment, like I’ve been doing my whole life, and I know that entertainment means blending real details with great storytelling and giving all the characters their own plots to follow.”

With her dedication to creating “good entertainment,” we have to think Jessica would bring a diligence to the role of Silk that would make fans proud.
