You Had Me at Hola by Alexis Daria

Alexis Daria‘s latest romance release, You Had Me at Hola, is set in the world of soap operas and telenovelas. Jasmine Lin Rodriguez has always had love on the brain, but it’s led to nothing more than heartbreak and having the public up in her business. She wants to concentrate on implementing her Leading Lady Plan and focusing on her starring role as Carmen on Carmen in Charge. Love, however, has a different agenda in the form of Ashton Suarez.

Ashton is a telenovela legend, but he’s worried his career is heading for the sidelines. He’s used to playing the lead, but his last role ended in his character’s death. Looking for a way to break into the American market, Ashton is ready to play the Victor to Jasmine’s Carmen and fall head over heels into the second chance romance between their characters.

Things aren’t exactly smooth sailing for Jasmine and Ashton, but the more they get to know each other, the more their attraction begins to spark despite their wishes. Ashton, however, has a secret that Jasmine’s limelight could expose if they get any closer. Love could be enough to soothe Ashton’s anxiety, but it may get in the way of Jasmine’s carefully laid plans if she’s not careful. Can one really have it all in the spotlight?

You Had Me at Hola is available now in print, audio, and e-book format for your TBR list needs!
