Peacock: 10 must-watch movies and shows on NBC’s streaming platform
Frasier
Another ’90s throwback heading to Peacock is the long-running sitcom Frasier. A spin-off of the equally successful show, Cheers, Frasier follows the life of neurotic psychologist Dr. Frasier Crane, his uptight brother Niles, their ex-cop father Martin, and their housekeeper Daphne. The show is a classic sitcom that (in our opinion) eclipses Cheers when it comes to character and comedy.
The Crane brothers’ neurotic tendencies (not to mention Emmy-worthy performances from David Hyde Pierce, John Mahoney, and Kelsey Grammer) result in some amazingly quick-witted dialogue unlike anything else on TV. For mile-a-minute laughs and the heartwarming familiarity of that opening jingle, check out Frasier ASAP.
The Bourne Trilogy
The Bourne films — Bourne Identity, Bourne Supremacy, and Bourne Ultimatum — are some of the most highly acclaimed action films of all time. Their slick, stylish filmmaking, intense action, and heart-pounding pacing make them unmissable, and the franchise is rare in that it never falters. Each entry seems to get better and better.
The film stars Matt Damon as Jason Bourne, a cold-blooded killer with deadly abilities who wakes up having completely lost his memory. From then on, it’s a chase to escape capture and reclaim his identity — and each film builds and builds into more jaw-dropping action. For a high-octane movie marathon, check out the Bourne films on Peacock.
