Peacock: 10 must-watch movies and shows on NBC’s streaming platform

NBC’s streaming platform Peacock launches everywhere on July 15, so we’ve rounded up a list of 10 must-watch shows and movies that should be your first pick when browsing. 

Following suit with competitors like CBS: All Access, Hulu, Netflix, and HBO Max, NBC is the latest network adding to the ever-growing list of streaming service platforms. Unlike some of the others, however, NBC’s Peacock offers a unique claim: It’s free. Well, at least some content is free.

Fans can watch hundreds of hours of NBC’s most popular shows without paying a dime, but for the full NBC catalog they’ll have to shell out $4.99 a month for Peacock premium. But even that’s not terrible for a monthly payment; streamers like Netflix and Disney+ are upwards of $6.99 per month.

And despite the paywall for all of NBC’s content, the offer of free movies and television sounds like a good time to us, so we decided to check it out for ourselves. Although Peacock won’t be available for everyone until July 15, we’ve gathered a list of 10 great shows and movies for you to check out once it’s up and running.
