Xbox Live Gold members have four new offerings during the month of July. It’s an improvement over the June games, so what should you expect?

Xbox Live Gold members have four new games coming out in July, so it’ll be a perfect palate cleanser after you finish up The Last of Us Part II. Which I may or may not still be struggling to get through.

Below are the offerings for July,  the systems they’re on, and the dates they’re available to download:

  • WRC 8 FIA World Rally Championship, July 1-31 on Xbox One
  • Dunk Lords, July 16 – August 15 on Xbox One
  • Saints Row 2, July 1-15 on Xbox 360 and Xbox One
  • Juju, July 16-31 on Xbox 360 and Xbox One

Here’s the announcement video as well:

These look much better than last month’s offerings. It’s nothing super spectacular, but certainly an improvement.

First up is the standard racing game for the month, WRC 8 FIA World Rally Championship. It released in 2019 and has over 100 tracks across 14 countries for single-player mode. If you’re looking for an interactive online multiplayer, this one’s for you. You get weekly challenges to partake in as well as a eSports mode. If racing games are your jam, you should definitely take a look at this one.

Next is Dunk Lords. Honestly, it really reminds me of NBA Jam. It’s the perfect thing to fill the void of sports this summer. Play two-on-two basketball and choose from 16 different vivid characters who all have different special skills to play the game. You have a story mode as well as an arcade mode (which you can play locally with 1-4 players).

You have the first half of July to pick up Saints Row 2, which may remind casual players of Grand Theft Auto IV. Except with ninjas. It’s definitely not the best Saints Row game, but it will curb your appetite for humor in a game. It’s highly entertaining.

Lastly, we have Juju. It’s a solid and adorable platformer. There are times when it feels a little too similar to the old school Mario games, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It takes a little bit for the game to get lively, but when it does, it’s hard to put down.
